I have this book. While I truly appreciate the skill and creativity of the artist, they really took some artistic license with some of the depictions. The one that really irked me was the Ghoul, which they depicted as a standard zombie instead of the foetid werewolf like creature from Lovecraft's fiction.

My other complaint was how dark and dismal everything was, even when the text would state the creature was bright and colorful - like the grey colored Mi-Go (which is described as bright pink).Otherwise, I think every fan of the Mythos should have this book. It's beautiful and a great hard-backed combination of the original paperback versions of Creatures of the Dreamlands and Cthulhu Monsters.
